Studio, Lighting & Strobes
This the perfect first step to becoming acquainted with the Studio Photography! This workshop will be a full hands-on photo shooting using professional studio equipment. Students will be introduced to the use Studio Strobes, Accessories such as softbox, barn doors, snoots and umbrellas, Flash-meter AND basic portrait lighting techniques using up to 3 strobes.
Requirements: Good understanding of aperture and shutter speed is recommended but not required. Digital SLR or Point & shoot camera with flash mount and manual controls for aperture & shutterspeed. You are welcome to bring your flash-meter if you own one! Limited spaces: 10 Students.
TTL Flash
Learn how to control your TTL flash, whether it is your built in or portable flash unit. In this seminar, an experienced photographer will help to demystify the technical principles behind flash photography, and provide you with techniques designed to make your flash answer your needs as a photographer.
Requirements: A basic understanding of manual camera functions is helpful but not required.
Photo Assisting
This 2-hr seminar will provide an overview of what is involved in being a photography assistant. We will discuss the responsibilities of the job, the other professionals involved in a pro shoot, and the camera and lighting equipment every photo assistant must know. You'll be provided with insider information from professional photographers working today. This seminar will let you know what you need to know and do in order to become a photography assistant.
Requirements: Basic knowledge of aperture & shutter-speed are highly recommended.Bring your camera with fresh batteries, and it's manuals if at hand.
