Learn how to fine-tune your pictures through post-processing. Topics include adjusting brightness and contrast, color balance, levels, curves, clone stamp, filters and more. Within each class, students receive practical instruction as they are guided through the software and editing process using both in-class images and their own.

Requirements: Access to Adobe Photoshop - Free 4-week trial is available at adobe.com. Efficiency in operating a computer is a must (Mac or Windows).
Level of Knowledge Assumed: Efficiency in operating a Mac or Windows computer. Basic understanding of digital photography.

Lightroom

Adobe Lightroom is a comprehensive application that allows you to organize, optimize and share your photography. This course will introduce the fundamentals of a Lightroom workflow. Learn to properly import photos into the library, develop and edit photos, and share photos using social media, web pages and photo printing. We will also look at ways to send photos to clients and how to keep your photo library safe from loss due to computer failure.

Photoshop IIStarts at $325!
Take your Photoshop fundamentals further. Through weekly presentations and assignments, students will learn to work with masks, curves and Photoshop tools for localized image adjustments and fine-tuning. This course will provide students with an advanced control of difficult images in Raw and JPEG formats.
Covered topics are: Raw files, Camera Raw, Photoshop Levels Review, Color Correction, Tonal Adjustments, Lasso, Marquee and Magic, Wand Color range, Layer masks, Adjustment Layer masks, Gradient masks. Content will be adjusted based on the students needs and interests.
Classes will include thorough practice of each tool.
